Fiji Airways will fly Western Sydney to Nadi three times a week from March 2027
The first flight is on 19 March 2027 and the Western Sydney departure is 11.55pm. On the September 2026 timetable the last bus reaches the airport an hour before it, and a 10.55pm arrival leaves you waiting for morning.
Spring Farm Parkway Stage 2's environmental report says the south-facing Hume ramps are being considered elsewhere
Comment closes 11:59pm Sunday 27 September 2026. The report puts the south-facing Hume ramps outside Stage 2, in separate Hume Motorway planning. It gives two earliest construction starts, mid-2028 and late 2028, both subject to funding.

Transport for NSW's forward calendar lists buses replacing trains between Goulburn, Moss Vale and Campbelltown on six weekends from 26 September. Four are marked Saturday daytime; 7–8 November and 9–10 January 2027 carry no daytime qualifier.

Buses replaced trains through Menangle Park over the 12–13 September weekend
Trackwork closed the Southern Highlands Line all weekend; replacement route 6SH stopped at every station, Moss Vale to Campbelltown, Menangle Park included. The next Southern Highlands weekend is Saturday 24 October.
Appin Road: Stage 1 is finished, the Gilead safety upgrade goes to tender
Transport for NSW completed the Appin Road upgrade Stage 1 in March 2026. It has now tendered the separate 3.6 km safety upgrade at Gilead, with construction expected from late 2026.
