Electricity prices and the certificate price
Endeavour Energy runs the poles and wires here; your retailer sets the prices you pay. The figures start at the AER's 2026/27 Default Market Offer for a flat-rate household in the Endeavour Energy area and IPART's 2026/27 feed-in benchmark. Enter the figures from your own bill.
What applies in Menangle Park
Export limits
Menangle Park is on Endeavour Energy's network. Endeavour says flexible exports become the default connection for eligible new and upgraded solar systems from November 2026, allowing up to 10 kW per phase to be exported most of the time. Postcode 2563 is in the first stage of the NSW CER Installer Portal and emergency backstop rollout, from 2 November 2026.
A customer who opts out goes on a fixed export plan capped at 1.5 kW. Solar used in the home or stored in a battery does not count towards an export limit. This estimate does not apply a limit.
The estate's Design Guidelines
Each stage has its own Design Guidelines, which form part of the land contract, and the Design Administrator assesses a design before Council or a certifier does. The guidelines set pitched roofs of at least 22.5 degrees, which is the pitch used for the output figures above.
Check your stage's guideline before placing panels or a battery. How building approvals work here sets out both steps.
Certificates fall each year
Postcode 2563 is in solar zone 3, rated 1.382. A solar system installed in 2026 can create certificates for a 5-year deeming period, falling by a year each year to 1 year in 2030. The battery factor is 6.8 per kWh for a battery installed from May to December 2026 and 5.7 from January to June 2027.
The installation date sets the number, not the date you sign. This page uses today's date.
