Menangle Park Guide

About Menangle Park Guide

Menangle Park Guide brings local news, events, businesses, transport and practical information together in one place.

Menangle Park Guide is an independent local guide, created to make local information easier to find.

As Menangle Park continues to grow, useful information is often spread across council websites, government pages, social media, business websites and community groups. Menangle Park Guide brings that information together in one place, making it easier for residents to understand what is happening locally and find what they need.

We focus on practical, relevant information for people living in and around Menangle Park.

Our coverage includes local news, events, businesses, transport, property, development, community updates, local deals and practical guides for everyday life.

Our goal is simple:

to help residents stay informed, discover local businesses and services, and better understand the community around them.

We focus first on Menangle Park, while also covering nearby Macarthur stories when they are genuinely relevant to local residents.

Menangle Park Guide is designed to be useful not only when something big happens, but also for everyday questions such as where to eat, what is happening this weekend, how to get around, what new developments are planned, and where to find local services.

We also want to support the people behind the community.

Through local business profiles, community stories and our Meet the Local series, we aim to introduce the people, businesses and organisations helping shape Menangle Park and the wider Macarthur area.

An engraving of a long iron railway bridge on stone piers crossing a river, with wooded banks on both sides.
The iron viaduct over the Upper Nepean, newly opened, engraved for the Illustrated Sydney News of 16 June 1864. It crosses the river between Menangle, today postcode 2568 in Wollondilly Shire, and Menangle Park, where Campbelltown's heritage schedule lists it. In 1864 there was no Menangle Park: both banks were the one Menangle district, and the eastern side was called North Menangle until the racecourse of 1914 renamed it. · Illustrated Sydney News · public domain · source
