The Festival of Fisher's Ghost — Campbelltown's biggest annual event — marks its 70th year in 2026, running Thursday 29 October to Sunday 8 November. It's also 200 years since the legend of Fred Fisher's ghost was born.
The headline for locals: the street parade returns to Queen Street on Saturday 31 October (2–4pm), followed by Fisher's Twilight Streets — a free two-day street festival through Mawson Park and Queen Street with live music, a foodie lane and a lighting display (Sat 4–10pm, Sun 3–9pm).
Also in the program: the Fisher's Ghost Fun Run from Western Sydney University's Campbelltown campus on Sunday 8 November (5km and 10km), a family scavenger hunt at the Billabong Parklands on Friday 30 October, and the 64th Fisher's Ghost Art Award exhibition at Campbelltown Arts Centre from 26 September to 4 December — over $60,000 in prizes, free entry.
