Ring 1300 094 737 for a sick, injured or orphaned native animal: a koala hit by a car or attacked by a dog, a bird down in the yard, a possum in the roof. WIRES says the rescue line runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
WIRES also takes rescues through a Report a Rescue form on the WIRES website, and states that all other forms of contact, including Facebook, are not monitored for rescues.

Council's animal facility on Rose Street, off Blaxland Road. One of two Council counters where Menangle Park residents can pay pet registration in person. The Civic Centre is the other; either can register an assistance or working dog. This is also the place to claim a lost dog or cat.
Local council
Menangle Park's local council. The Civic Centre counter is at 91 Queen Street, Campbelltown, on the corner of Queen and Broughton Streets. This is the number you ring to order bins for a new home, and the counter where you can pay rates; a pet can be registered in person here or at Council's Animal Care Facility on Rose Street.
