StatewideWildlife rescueKoalas24 hours

Ring 1300 094 737 for any sick, injured or orphaned native animal — a koala hit by a car or attacked by a dog, a bird down in the yard, a possum in the roof cavity. WIRES says the rescue line runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

WIRES also takes rescues through a Report a Rescue form on its own site, and states that all other forms of contact, including Facebook, are not monitored for rescues. Campbelltown City Council also lists a “WIRES Koala Hotline” on 0466 318 688. WIRES does not publish that number on wires.org.au, and the link behind it on Council’s page dials 1300 094 737, so ring 1300 094 737; 0466 318 688 is the number Council lists.
