Council rates enquiries · Council, utilities & emergency services
The direct line for rate notices, quarterly instalments, pensioner rebates and hardship arrangements on a Menangle Park property.
Rates are levied on land value only, with no allowance for the house on it, and notices are issued each July. You can pay in full by 31 August or in four instalments due 31 August, 30 November, 28 February and 31 May. There is no discount for paying early, and penalty interest applies to missed instalments. Eligible pensioners can claim a rebate, and the application does not need renewing while your details stay the same. Your notice will also carry a Domestic Waste Management charge and, unless the land is vacant, a Stormwater Management charge. The amounts are on your own notice.
Contact details and hours change; confirm them with the organisation before you rely on them, and ring Triple Zero (000) in an emergency.
Something here wrong or out of date? Tell us →Council koala programme and sightings
Where you report seeing a koala rather than rescuing one. Ring 02 4645 4601, email koalatown@campbelltown.nsw.gov.au, or use the I Spy Koala app. A sick or injured animal needs a rescue group, not this number.
Problem waste drop-off
Council's free drop-off for the household problem waste that cannot go in a Menangle Park kerbside bin. It takes batteries, paint, e-waste, gas bottles, oils, globes, smoke detectors and clean flattened cardboard.
Council emergency dashboard
A live dashboard for the Campbelltown LGA: Bureau of Meteorology warnings, Live Traffic closures, power, transport, air quality and Sydney Water. It adds an emergency contacts panel.
