Council's animal facility on Rose Street, off Blaxland Road. One of two Council counters — the Civic Centre is the other — where Menangle Park residents can pay pet registration in person or register an assistance or working dog, and the place to claim a lost dog or cat.
Cats and dogs in NSW must be microchipped and then registered on the NSW Pet Registry, which is a state system rather than a council one, by 12 weeks of age or on transfer, whichever comes first. Until the fee is paid the animal is not registered, a late fee applies after 28 days, and fines are possible. Assistance and working dogs must be registered in person here or at the Civic Centre, not online. Council also runs subsidised desexing for eligible pensioners and low income earners in the LGA.

Menangle Park's local council. The Civic Centre counter is at 91 Queen Street, Campbelltown, on the corner of Queen and Broughton Streets. This is the number you ring to order bins for a new home, and the counter where you can pay rates; a pet can be registered in person here or at Council's Animal Care Facility on Rose Street.
