Council’s koala pages also carry its advice for households next to habitat: dogs secured when unattended and preferably indoors at night, koala-friendly rural fencing with a 30 cm gap at the bottom, a secured rope in the pool, and care when driving east of the train line at dusk, dawn and night. Report a dead koala to open.space@campbelltown.nsw.gov.au and check the pouch of a dead female for a joey.
