Council's free drop-off for the household problem waste that cannot go in a Menangle Park kerbside bin: batteries, paint, e-waste, gas bottles, oils, globes, smoke detectors and clean flattened cardboard.
Residential quantities only, up to 20 litres or 20 kilograms per item type. Household chemicals are not accepted here, they go to a Household Chemical CleanOut event instead. Council’s page also carries a notice that polystyrene drop-off is unavailable until further notice, so polystyrene goes in the red-lid bin for now. Bring TVs, computers, printers and small appliances rather than putting them out for a bulky waste collection, which has to be booked separately for general waste and for metal.

Council animal shelter and pet registration
Council's animal facility on Rose Street, off Blaxland Road. One of two Council counters — the Civic Centre is the other — where Menangle Park residents can pay pet registration in person or register an assistance or working dog, and the place to claim a lost dog or cat.

Menangle Park's local council. The Civic Centre counter is at 91 Queen Street, Campbelltown, on the corner of Queen and Broughton Streets. This is the number you ring to order bins for a new home, and the counter where you can pay rates; a pet can be registered in person here or at Council's Animal Care Facility on Rose Street.
