School Infrastructure NSW’s September planning update puts Menangle Park’s new primary school at the nearly completed concept design stage. The master plan has been validated, and the agency plans a community information session in Term 4 2026 for families to see the first designs.

The planned session will present the design and invite community feedback.

The agency says it is finalising the concept design and planning application, known as a Review of Environmental Factors (REF), for submission and public exhibition in late 2026. The REF will include designs, specialist reports and assessments.

The school land is also being transferred from Dahua Group. The September update describes the transfer as being in its final stages, with completion and formalisation expected that month. The agency says it has signed a site access agreement with the developer to complete remaining assessments, specialist reports and investigations.

The update retains the target of Day 1, Term 1 2029 for the primary school and co-located public early learning to open to students. The primary school would initially accommodate 500 students, with future expansion provided for in the master plan. Its scope includes 24 classrooms and three additional support learning classrooms.

Families can follow the official project page for further updates.
