Measured by road from the estate’s Menangle Road entrance on 30 August 2026, Macarthur Square is 7.0 km and about 8 minutes off-peak — the shortest drive of any shopping destination tested, and shorter than Rosemeadow or Mount Annan. It is a straight run north up Menangle Road.
The supermarket hours help as well. The centre’s own site has both Coles and Woolworths trading 7am to 10pm, so an early or late shop works here even though the centre itself shuts at 5:30pm most days and 9pm on Thursday. Three supermarkets under one roof, plus everything involving clothes, electronics, a haircut or the cinema.
Macarthur Square Post Office is inside the centre and is the nearest Australia Post outlet to Menangle Park with published current hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm, closed Sunday.
GPT’s own asset page, read on 3 September 2026, gives more than 300 retailers across 108,100 sqm and a redevelopment completed in 2017. On 15 June 2026 GPT announced that its wholesale fund GWSCF had agreed to buy the other 50 per cent from Lendlease’s Australian Prime Property Fund for $568 million, with settlement expected in July 2026, after which GWSCF would own the whole centre.
