Rosemeadow Marketplace

Rosemeadow is often described locally as the closest supermarket to Menangle Park. Measured by road from the estate’s Menangle Road entrance on 30 August 2026 it is 9.5 km and about 12 minutes off-peak — roughly 2.5 km and four minutes further than Macarthur Square, and further than Marketfair Campbelltown as well.

What still earns the trip is the Australia Post outlet in the car park, open 9am to noon on Sunday — the only post office near Menangle Park that Australia Post’s locator showed open on a Sunday when we checked on 30 August 2026. Add the Woolworths and the BWS and it is a genuine one-stop errand run, just not the shortest one.

What it is not is a big centre. Rosemeadow Marketplace lists about 21 specialty shops in total, so anything beyond groceries, chemist and takeaway means driving on to Campbelltown or Narellan. Weekend trading is short too: 10am to 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Menangle Park has no supermarket of its own. Woolworths lodged a development application with Campbelltown City Council in May 2026 for a Menangle Park town centre with a full-line supermarket, reference 2503/2026/DA-C. As at 30 August 2026 that application is under assessment: the proponent’s project website lists public exhibition and Council determination as stages still to come, so nothing has been approved and nothing is under construction.
