Menangle Country Club
Club, restaurant and function venue · Parks, sport & things to do
Club Menangle's second venue, at 170 Menangle Road in Menangle Park. Restaurant, sports lounge, wood-fired pizzeria, playground and function rooms in the grounds of 1820s Menangle House. Despite the name it has no golf course.
For families in the new estate it is a short drive, with a playground, lawns and a kitchen on the one site. The club runs a school holiday program and a Mini Trotters kids’ menu.
The building is the former Horse and Jockey Inn, which Club Menangle bought and redeveloped as an entertainment venue for the growing Menangle Park corridor. The Horse and Jockey sports lounge with large screens is still the name used for the bar area.
The name is misleading: there is no golf course here. For golf, the courses are Campbelltown Golf Club at Glen Alpine and Camden Golf Club at Narellan.
On race meeting days a courtesy bus runs between here and Club Menangle Trackside.
