Menangle Park is inside the Campbelltown local government area, so residents, youth services, organisations and businesses based here — or principally serving Campbelltown residents — can apply for Campbelltown City Council’s 2027 NSW Youth Week community grants. Each application can seek up to $1,000, with submissions closing at midnight AEDT on Wednesday 11 November 2026.

Funded events or activities must be held in the Campbelltown LGA during NSW Youth Week, from 7 to 17 April 2027, and target local people aged 12 to 24. Council lists possible activities including opportunities for young people to share their views, entertainment, teaching new skills, and introducing a new sport or hobby.

What an application needs to address

A proposed project must address at least one of the priorities in Council’s Youth Plan: opportunity, connection, safety, wellbeing, voice or sustainability. The application form also asks what consultation has taken place with young people and how they will be involved in planning, organising and delivering the activity.

Applicants must show that the project will provide a positive social outcome for young people in Campbelltown, acquit any previous Council grants and include the required supporting documents. The online form also asks applicants to confirm financial viability, that they do not owe Council reports or money from earlier funding, and that they hold insurance appropriate to the proposed activity.

Applying online

Applications are made through Council’s SmartyGrants portal. The portal says a submission is not complete unless the applicant sees a confirmation page and receives a confirmation email.

The round title and opening page identify the 2027 program, and both Council’s grant page and the NSW Government page give the event window as 7–17 April 2027. However, the form preview still contains some references to 2026. If a form instruction conflicts with the 2027 dates, applicants should check with Council before submitting.
