Menangle Park and all three project sites sit within the Campbelltown council area, so Campbelltown City Council’s 8 October contractor appointment marks a new delivery step for three public-domain projects in the same local government area. Council says it has appointed ALLY Infrastructure to finalise the design and construct upgrades to Campbelltown City Centre, Glenfield Town Centre and Ingleburn Town Centre. This is a contractor appointment; Council does not say construction has begun.

In Campbelltown City Centre, the work covers Lithgow Street and the ‘On Q’ plaza, with the aim of making the Queen Street Precinct more pedestrian-friendly and supporting events and everyday use. At Glenfield, Railway Parade is planned to receive shared pathways, pedestrian crossings, landscaping, street furnishings and public art. In Ingleburn, the lower end of Oxford Road near Nardoo Street and Macquarie Street is planned to receive cultural art, lighting, amenity, event-readiness, traffic-management and public-art improvements.

Council describes the three projects as having a combined budget of $16 million. The NSW Government’s executed-funding-deeds register separately lists $7,499,999 for Campbelltown City Centre, $2,499,942 for Glenfield and $4,988,605 for Ingleburn: $14,988,546 in NSW Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program funding. The precise state-grant total and Council’s stated combined project budget are different measures.

Council says construction is targeted to begin by late 2026, with completion anticipated in 2028. These are Council’s stated target and anticipated timing, not a claim that work has started or that a completion date is guaranteed. Council’s announcement also says community consultation on the town-centre plans is open until Friday 16 October.
