Camden Park House and Garden
Historic house and garden · Parks, sport & things to do
The Macarthur family house at 160 Camden Park Road, Camden Park, designed by John Verge and completed in 1835. It opens to the public for one Spring Open Weekend a year.
One to plan for: the house is a private home lived in by seven generations of Macarthur descendants and it opens to the public once a year.
The 2026 Spring Open Weekend runs Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, 10am to 4pm. Published prices are $15 for adult garden entry plus a booking fee, with children under 18 free, and $60 adult or $55 concession and child for a guided house tour including all-day garden entry. Both house-tour ticket types were showing as sold out when we checked on 3 September 2026; garden entry was still on sale. The program includes guided house and garden tours, Devonshire teas, plant and gift stalls, a barbecue, children’s activities, an art exhibition, heritage walks and Macarthur family history talks.
Contact is by email only. No public telephone number is published. On the postcode: the operator’s contact page gives 2568 and its ticketing page 2570; Australia Post’s postcode locator lists Camden Park under 2570, which is what this listing uses.
