Future public primary school · Schools & childcare
The NSW Government primary school announced for Menangle Park, with a co-located public early learning service. School Infrastructure NSW says it will have capacity for 500 students and will open to students for Day 1 Term 1 2029. It is in design as at the June 2026 planning update, and planning approval has not yet been sought.
The published scope is 24 classrooms plus three support learning classrooms, a co-located public early learning service, a hall and covered outdoor learning area, a full-sized playing field, a multipurpose court, and kiss-and-drop and bike parking. School Infrastructure NSW says the site is central to the precinct near the future proposed town centre; no street address or lot has been published, site due diligence starts later in 2026, and a community information session will be held before planning approval is sought. Funding sits inside the $9.2 billion for school infrastructure over four years announced in the 2026-27 NSW Budget on 22 June 2026, with no project-specific figure released. Until it opens, Menangle Park addresses sit in the Douglas Park Public School intake area, and no intake boundary has been drawn for this school.
