The weekly schedule above covers Campbelltown City Library's closest branch, HJ Daley Library (147–157 Queen St, Campbelltown CBD) — all free, no bookings, term-time only. A few sessions also run on other days at other branches: Storytime on Mondays at Ingleburn; Library Tots and Baby Read 'n' Rhyme also at Ingleburn; and Babies 'n' Tots (0–3 years, early-literacy singing) on Tuesdays 11–11:30am, but only at Glenquarie and Eagle Vale — not the Campbelltown CBD branch.

School holidays. The next NSW school holidays run Monday 28 September – Friday 9 October 2026. Council's Spring School Holidays lineup includes free drop-ins — a Bicycle Education Centre open day (Sundays and holidays, 10am–3pm, King St, Campbelltown; bring a bike or scooter and a helmet) and the Billabong Parklands Summer Season Launch (3 October) — alongside paid options like a Multi Sports Clinic for ages 7–12 at Macquarie Fields Fitness & Indoor Sports Centre. For full-day care over the break, Council runs paid School Holiday Care (vacation care) for primary-aged kids at Raby and Campbelltown City, 6:30am–6:30pm weekdays, from $70.50/day (Child Care Subsidy eligible), booked through the HubHello portal — this is paid full-day care, not a drop-in activity.

Playgroups. Council's Early Years Support Services runs free, educator-led playgroups for ages 0–5, plus a Mobile Toy and Book Library (free membership, two books and a toy per child). 2026 sessions resume in term time; call (02) 4645 4443 for the current day-by-day schedule — the venue list circulating online (Airds, Koshigaya Park, Glenquarie) comes from a flyer we couldn't independently open, so it's worth confirming by phone before you plan around it.

Further afield. If Campbelltown's timing doesn't line up, Camden's libraries (Camden, Narellan, Oran Park) run their own free, no-booking programs — Storytime and BiBs (Babies into Books, 0–2) most weekdays, plus a Book and Build toddler session and after-school Homework Help at Oran Park — though they're a longer drive than the Campbelltown branches.
